Conference Submissions

Important Information

The selection panel of the conference committee will consider all abstracts received by the published deadline (20th July, 2023) to ensure that the proposed submission is relevant to the Conference.

 

Abstract selection notifications will be sent out to relevant authors with 24 hours of submission.

 

All papers will be double-blind peer reviewed by members of the conference committee to ensure an adequate standard, that the proposed subject of the submitted abstract has been followed (APA style 7th edition), that the paper is of a suitable length (4000-8000 words), the standard of English is adequate and the paper is adequately and appropriately referenced.

 

For authors whose first language is not English we request that you have your work proof-read prior to submission by a native English speaker (or at least a fluent English speaker). Submissions can be rejected due to poor standard of English.

Papers that are accepted will be published in the conference proceedings provided at least one author completes registration (including payment). see the registration section of the conference website for more information about registration. The conference proceedings is a book published with an ISBN and ISSN. Conference proceedings will be picked up at the conference venue on arrival.

 

Should multiple papers be accepted for publication and to be presented by the same author(s), each paper requires a registration fee to be included in the proceedings

The abstract submission form will guide you through the process, however, we recommend you read the call for papers first to ensure you select the correct track and submission type.

Submitting an Abstract

In the first instance we require everyone who wishes to submit their work to the conference to submit an abstract describing the proposed paper, work in progress, presentation etc.

Abstracts and Camera Ready Papers for Publication in Proceedings

Abstracts and Camera Ready Papers for Publication in Proceedings should be sent to following email address not later than 20th of July, 2023.

Your camera ready (full paper 5-6 pages) must be saved in Your camera ready (full paper 4000-8000 words single line spacing) must be saved in Microsoft Word Document file format (.doc, .docx), with Paper File Name Format (primary author lastname_firstname_PaperID.doc) and submitted in ICILCB Conference Submission System. Or sent as an attached file to registration@alpp-net.org, ololubenp@gmail.com.

 

Consent to Publish (Copyright Transfer Agreement): Download, Print, Sign then scan the signed consent to publish form. Upload the file saved in acrobat PDF file during camera ready (full paper) submission.

Note: One author may sign on behalf of all of the other authors of a particular paper. Please note that the field "Volume Editor" should be left blank.

Registration Regulation:

All presenters, regardless of the mode of presentation (verbal or poster), are invited to prepare full papers for the Conference Proceedings (Optional). Co-authors may appear on multiple papers. However, in order to provide a greater opportunity for more people to present at the Conference, each accepted paper should have a different conference registrant.

 

For inclusion in the ICILCB 2023 Conference Proceedings, at least one registration per submission is required by 20th July, 2023.

In general, the duration of each presentation should last 10 min with 4 min for discussion. The session chairs may, at their discretion, increase the time allocation to each presenter. Prepare and bring your presentation file saved in Microsoft PowerPoint (.ppt), (.pptx) file format. Internet access will NOT be available in the meeting rooms.

 

Bring a Backup: Be sure to bring a backup copy of your presentation with you to the meeting. Please note, the Final Program may be changed due to speakers attendance, etc.
